FanDuel has France at -420 to advance past Morocco tonight at Gillette Stadium. Eighty-five percent of bets are on France. Eighty-seven percent of the money is on France.
And yet.
Morocco is +310 to advance. That’s a real number. These are real dollars you could put on a team that went to the 2022 World Cup semifinal, beat Spain, beat Portugal, and just knocked out the Netherlands on penalties two weeks ago. If bettors have been getting torched all tournament riding public chalk, maybe don’t do that again tonight.
I’m not saying Morocco wins. I’m saying +310 is worth a unit when the public is this lopsided.
The 90-minute Morocco ML is +550 if you want to go scorched earth. That’s a parlay capper right there.
Now let’s talk about the actual best bet on the board.
Erling Haaland has 7 goals in this tournament. Seven. That’s tied with Mbappe for second in the Golden Boot race, one behind Messi. Kane is at 6 and everyone’s writing sonnets about him passing Pelé. Haaland is just up there quietly being the most dangerous player alive. And the Betfair anytime scorer prop is sitting at roughly +120 against England on July 11.
Norway entered this tournament as +370 underdogs to beat Brazil in the Round of 16. They won 2-0. Haaland scored twice. Now the Polymarket split on Norway vs. England is 52-48. That is a coin flip. England is -105 in regulation. Norway is +280 to win outright.
Sharp money is reportedly on the Under in France-Morocco too. Morocco grinds. They don’t open up. France is -180 in regulation but a 0-0 draw at halftime with Morocco is not a fantasy. Over/under is 2.5 and the Under has serious value given Morocco’s defensive identity.
Then there’s Spain.
Five clean sheets. Five matches. Zero goals allowed the entire tournament. Belgium is playing them July 10. Someone already lost $8.6 million on a Belgium draw on Polymarket earlier this tournament. Spain “Win to Nil” is the safest prop on the slate. Belgium at +425 to win in regulation is a museum piece, not a bet.
